The bad reviews are from people expecting. the Ritz hotel. My honest opinion: It was a nice little family run hotel. It was clean, had all the things I needed, good size room and the location was perfect ( right on beach). The management was nice and let me check in a little early. You can’t compare this to the Hilton, and you are not being charged for the Hilton either. I firmly believe in giving local family owned businesses my money. This 56 yr old retired military grandma recommends this hotel!! 😊

Check-in was very quick and easy. While there is limited parking behind the building, there is also free street parking available. The room was very clean beside the carpet. Make sure to wear flip flops. The room also had a strong mold smell, particularly on the bathroom door (see photo). We informed the office, and they sent the cleaning crew to address the issue. When we returned later that day, the mold smell was completely gone. The room includes a bathroom, a mini refrigerator fridge, a microwave, a TV, air conditioner and a table with two seats. (No Iron or Ironing Board)

Very happy during our stay. Quiet. Excellent location. Steps from the beach and boardwalk. Ocean front views available. Nice, clean pool. Our room was clean and comfortable. Staff is everywhere all the time. Not a single issue our entire stay. Would stay here again.

Great location right at the end of the Boardwalk and the rooms were very clean. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay as well. We really loved the location as it's right on the end of the Boardwalk so you have easy access to the beach and the Boardwalk. And because it's at the end of the Boardwalk it's a lot quieter than being right on the Boardwalk. It is an older motel, but the rooms were very clean and the view of the ocean from our room was amazing. There's a ton of stuff nearby as well. We highly recommend this motel and will absolutely be back!
